Project Overview
I project managed an important enterprise content management system, based on Vignette platform, at ADCO. The idea was that ADCO, being an oil operations company, had much data and that data (or content data) needed to be centralized, tagged, processed, and made usable and searchable by all.
When I came onboard, the contract and work had already started and a team was assembled. I took the project and continued. It was a difficult contract to manage as there were some scope issues that were not resolved.
The implementation vendor showed much cooperation and brought additional outside expert to ensure completion of the project.
In the end, the management replaced this Vignette-based system with a SharePoint system.
